Holidaying with kids? Then you must drop by the City Libraries Teddy Bear’s Picnic. This special kids’ picnic is based on teddy bears and stuffed animals and promises to offer wholesome family entertainment.
City Libraries Teddy Bear’s Picnic is on Tuesday, August 22 from 9:15am-9:45pm at D’Arcy Doyle Park in Mudgeeraba. Entry is free.
Hide & Seek Children’s Market
The Hide & Seek Children’s Market is on this week and if you have kids of your own or nieces and nephews, then this is one event you won’t want to miss. You’ll find a range of handmade children’s products including toys, clothing, accessories, décor and furnishings for sale. Plus, there’ll also be live music and plenty of food trucks to keep you entertained whilst you’re there.
Hide & Seek Children’s Market is on Saturday, August 26 from 9:00am-1:00pm at the Miami State High School. Entry is free.
Queensland Symphony Orchestra present QSO Plays BeethovenQSO, Alondra and Mahler 1
Revel in the delight of classical music as the Queensland Symphony Orchestra performs Mozart’s and Beethoven’s piano concertos. Conducted by renowned music director, Alondra de la Parra and featuring the great pianist Jan Lisiecki, you’re sure to have a great time at this event.
Queensland Symphony Orchestra is performing on Saturday, August 26 from 7:30pm-9:50pm at The Arts Centre Gold Coast. Tickets range from $32-$56.
4. Currumbin Wildlife Hospital Open Day
Become a hospital hero this week at the annual Currumbin Wildlife Hospital Open Day! See nurses and vets in action as they perform live diagnostics and demonstrations on resident animals. There’ll also be plenty of live music, games and fun activities to keep you entertained.
Currumbin Wildlife Hospital Open Day is on Sunday, August 27 from 10:00am-2:00pm at Currumbin Hospital. Tickets are $10.
