Fiesta de la Musica
Fond of live music? Well then, you’re in for an absolute treat this week, with Fiesta de la Musica hitting the Gold Coast. This festival celebrates classical music from all over the world and promises to offer wholesome entertainment for one and all.
Fiesta de la Musica is on Thursday, September 7 at the Arts Centre Gold Coast from 11:00pm onwards. Entry is free, but you’ll need to make bookings in advance.
SWELL Sculpture Festival 2017
Drop by the SWELL Sculpture Festival to see some of best of local, national and even international artists create some of the best beach sculptures you have ever seen. And, apart from the sculptures, there will be guided walks, artist workshops and of course, great food!
SWELL Sculpture Festival 2017 runs from Friday, September 8 to Sunday, September 17 at Currumbin Beach. Entry is free.
Tina Arena – Innocence to Understanding – Greatest Hits Tour
Fancy watching a stunning live show on your Gold Coast holiday? Then you must watch Italian-Australian singer songwriter, Tina Arena take the stage this week at The Star. She’ll be performing all of her biggest hits in celebration of her 40-year career – definitely a concert worth attending.
Tina Arena is performing live on Saturday, September 9 from 7:00pm onwards at The Star Gold Coast. Entry tickets start at $119.
La Fiesta, Tastes & Sounds from South America
Immerse yourself in authentic South American culture with La Fiesta. It is the second edition of this festival and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever!
La Fiesta, Tastes & Sounds from South America is on Saturday, September 9 from 12:00pm-8:00pm at Broadwater Parklands in Southport. Entry is free.
Brickworks Inside Out Festival
Looking for something to do on the weekend? Then drop by the Brickworks Centre to attend their annual Inside Out Festival. You’ll find an excellent selection of craft beer, delicious food, bohemian fashion and a wonderful festival atmosphere at this event.
Brickworks Inside Out Festival is on Sunday, September 10 from 10:00am-6:00pm at the Brickworks Centre in Southport. Entry is completely free!
